Specialists from Korea Conformity Laboratories Visited the Department of Nanotechnology of ABRII, 15 June, 2017
Korea Conformity Laboratories specialists, Dr. Kyung Seuk Song, Center Manager, Ms. So Min Lee, Junior Research Engineer and Mr. Dongseok Baek, Senior Assistant Manager, visited ABRII’s Nanotechnology Department while giving a brief introduction about the history and KCL’s projects in Asia, Europe and America. Dr. Ghasem Hosseini Salekdeh, Deputy Director General for Research, Dr. Maryam Hashemi, Head of Microbial department and Dr. Leila Ma’mani, Head of Nanotechnology Department participated in this meeting.
According to kcl.re.kr website, Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL) is the Korea’s top testing and certification organization, which was established through the merger of Korea Institute of Construction Materials (KICM) and Korea Environment & Merchandise Testing Institute (KEMTI) on July 2010. Based on the extensive experience and technological expertise that this conformity has accumulated over the past half-century, KCL is now an expert institute in testing, inspection and certification of construction materials, consumer products, energy and environmental products, setting new standards in consumer safety and helping companies gain competitive advantages in the global market. After visiting ABRII, KCL announced their readiness to collaborate on the safety assessment of nanoscale products with the Nanotechnology Department of ABRII.
