Prof. Pardha Saradhi at ABRII
Prof. Pardha Saradhi, the head of the Department of Environmental Studies of the University of Delhi- India visited the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Institute of Iran on 1st August, 2018. He became acquainted with ongoing research in ABRII and discussed the the recent achievements and commercialized projects with ABRII's scientists in particular the research conducted on rice.
Pardha Saradhi is an Indian plant biologist. The team led by him is reported to have developed a transgenic mustard for the first time in India. The Department of Biotechnology of the Government of India awarded him with the National Bioscience Award for Career Development, one of the highest Indian science awards, for his contributions to biosciences in 2000.
