Indonesian Specialists at ABRII’s Nano Biotechnology Department


 Ten specialists form Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development visited ABRII’s Nano Biotechnology Department on 27th July, 2017

     According to Public Relations Office of ABRII, the visit is accompanied by the third secretary of Indonesian embassy. Introducing different departments of ABRII, Dr. Hosseini Salekdeh, Deputy Director General for Research (ABRII), presented the recent achievements and commercialization of projects of the Institute. He also explained some of the projects which are in the pipeline for future research. He reiterated that Nano Biotechnology Department is one of the most active departments in the field of applied and commercial research.

     Dr. Leila Ma’mani, Head of the Nano Biotechnology Department, presented a brief report about the ongoing projects in producing Nano-fertilizers, Nano-pesticides, Nano seed coats and food packaging.

     Praising the Institute achievements and development, Indonesian group described their fields of research and ongoing projects in Nano-fertilizers, Nano-pesticides, edible wax, Nano packaging, silica Nanoparticles and also in agricultural waste. Both parties hoped for future collaborations regarding their common interests.
